About:
Chris draws on his experience as an athlete as well as his continued studies in movement and the human body, combined with the psychology behind motivation, to promote positive and permanent improvements in his clients. From master class swimmers to weekend warriors, Chris helps each individual achieve their full potential by providing them with a challenging yet friendly environment to train in. Each program he develops is catered to clients’ specific needs and reflects the knowledge gained from his studies at UNC Chapel Hill, his time interning under physical therapists at renowned facilities such as the Mayo Clinic, and most importantly, years of training experience.

Through his diverse experiences with physical injuries, including his own, Chris has developed a unique ability to keep one’s spirit inspired despite physical challenges and to finesse a fitness plan that keeps the body moving forward in a healthy direction. Having fought through health conditions of his own, Chris knows how to work around daily challenges in order to reach goals both small and big. He has worked himself through sprained/fractured ankles and wrists, a lumbar fracture, a torn labrum, and multiple instances of internal bleeding leading to atrophy, to get back to competition form. His experiences involve but are not limited to weight loss, injury prevention and time improvement for runners, strength improvement, and continued physical therapy/post surgery training.
**Please note: If a trainer's name does not appear when scheduling, they may not be taking on new clients at this time.

"I’ve worked out with CHT through two different surgeries, which has been great because, you know, they basically tailored a routine for me that was within the restrictions from my doctors to help me recover a lot faster than I would have otherwise.
Chris understands where my body is and he is able to push me in a good way, but not over pushing me.
And so I think that's an important thing, too. I work out and I feel tired, but not overtired. I think he pushes me to the right point where I wanna come back and do it again."
